Another year has come and gone. Where did it go??  It sure when by fast! New Year 2020 is here and I am excited for a Sparkling New Year.

How do you celebrate the New Year’s?

Bringing in the New Year is always exciting because it is another year to do better. I do not  write down resolutions but I have many in my head I want to accomplish.  Every New Year lets you do that. Sometimes life gets in the way with family and work but even if you accomplish some of those goals pat yourself on the back!!

Let me share some ideas on how to celebrate with your family and bring in a Sparkling New Year.

Either attend the Rose Parade or watch it on TV.

Start a New Family Tradition……One idea is letting the kids make a Handprint Calendar. Tutorial From RedTri.

Have the kids put “Happy Notes” in your Neighbors Mailboxes.Learn More From Teach Mama.

I Love this idea……Celebrate with balloons! Write your wishes for 2020 on a helium balloon.  Create one balloon for each family member.  Have them write a wish on their balloon and then go outside and release them into the world.

Now that the family has had some fun let them help you clean out their closets. If need be call in reinforcements via Amazon’s Deep-Cleaning Service.

Have your family write a letter of the good things that happened last year.  Then have them write about the things they would like to do in the New Year. Then read the letters at the end of the year before you write a new one.

Did the kids get new books for Christmas?  Spend part of the day reading.  You can even visit a thrift store for new books. We just picked up some with the grandkids for only $1.00 each!

Take the family to see a matinee movie.

Some Movies that are playing are

Little Women

Star Wars..The Rise Of Skywalker

Frozen 2

Play some Card Games like…..

How to Play Three Thirteen – this game has several rounds, and wild card changes every time so you have to pay attention! Fun for a wide range of ages.

(Tutorial From Frugal Fun 4 Boys.)

How to Play James Bond –  Looks fun, and there is a video explanation which helps.

How to Play Golf – I had not heard of this one, but it looks like lots of fun!

Have a Sparkling  New Year Everyone!
