Tips and Tricks For Those Mismatched Socks

Have you ever wondered why when you put in two socks in the washer only ONE comes out?  Where did it go? Well instead of throwing them away there are a lot of fun things you can do with just that one sock.

Let me share a few tips and tricks for those Mismatched Socks.

Wear them mismatched, my grandkids tell me that is the style now.

Make Super Hero Sock Monkeys. My grandma always made sock monkeys. When we went through my mom things after she passed in December there were several sock monkeys and I brought one home. Such great memories with her.

Use men’s socks and make some cute Play Donuts.

You can make a Soap Pouch.  Just place a bar of soap into the sock and start scrubbing. You can also leftover soap pieces to the sock.


Socks make a great Ice Pack. Just slip 2 or 3 into each other, place some ice in them and tie off the end.

If you don’t know what a Hobby Horse is, it’s basically a horse’s head that’s been impaled onto a stick.

Make Some DIY Dryer balls from those mismatched socks. Add essential oil to the center or soak in fabric softener and let dry.
