Halloween Is a Real Treat

Sugru

We raised our family ( and foster kids) way out in the country, so when Halloween came we had a BIG HALLOWEEN PARTY in our home.

Every year  I picked up costumes after Halloween when they went on sale, and everyone had many choices they could choose from.

We took the family to the pumpkin patch and everyone picked out a pumpkin.  We went home and had a big carving party and I had lots of seeds to bake. Click on the picture below for some yummy Pumpkin Seed recipes.

I made a HUGE Halloween dinner in a pumpkin with hot scones, spooky jello salad, and fruit kabobs. We made homemade rootbeer for that eery effect and the kids loved it.Cheap Flights Airfare Deals! Get Up To $15 Off* with Coupon Code

We had games from eating the do-nut off the string to bobbing for apples.

At the end of the night we told ghost stories and the kids got to break a pinata for their candy.  It was so much fun and lots of memories made.

I love the holidays and I am always looking for fun ideas to make them even better than the last year. Let me share some ideas I found this year….
