Have a Sparkling New Year

Volume Limited Headphones

Another year has come and gone. Where did it go??  Time goes so fast as you get older. But the New Year 2019 is almost here. How do you celebrate the New Year? We would play games, have some fun snacks, drink some sparkling cider and wait for the midnight bell to toll.

Bringing in the New Year is always exciting because I always thought it is another year to do better. I do not really do write down resolutions but I have many in my head I want to accomplish.  Every New Year lets you do that. Maybe life gets in the way with family and work but even if you accomplish some of those goals it is ok.

Let me share some ideas on how to celebrate with your family with year and bring in a Sparkling New Year.

Make Countdown bags to start opening 3 hours before midnight. Learn how from Spaceships and Laser Beams.

Make a Hot Chocolate bar for the younger kids with lots of marshmallows.

We love this first idea with an Empty Jar.

I love the idea of taking a family photo every year on New Year’s Eve. The picture does not have to be staged and perfect.  You can make a Special New Year’s Eve Album that holds these memories.

Make a New Year’s Eve Surprise Ball, like this one from Mama Papa Bubba.

Celebrate with New Year’s Eve cheesecake clock. Get the instructions from Hungry Happenings.

Make Your Own Ice Skating Rink by Soule Mama

I Love this idea……Celebrate with balloons! Write your wishes for 2019 on a helium balloon.  Create one balloon for each family member.  Have them write a wish on their balloon and then go outside and release them into the world.

Try this easy Kid Friendly Cotton Candy Drink Recipe from Eating On a Dime. You only need 2 ingredients to make this yummy cotton candy drink recipe for kids.

It is a must to have a few games to play and bring in the New Year.  I found this one from The Idea Room that would be fun.

Another Fun Family Game would be This Silly Chocolate Unicorn Stacking Game from Invite and Delight..You have to stack  7 Ding Dongs on your forehead, and they must stay there for 3 seconds.

Ring in the New Year with a cute little bell. Get the FREE Printable from iHeart Naptime.
